Be a Warrior

Life is full of ups and downs, ebbs and flows, and they are what make growth impressive for some but regretful for others. Understanding the equipment, we were given and the training on how to use it is the only thing that will allow us to make it through these challenging times.

It is estimated that 22 Veterans a day commit suicide because of PTSD. The sad fact is that many veteransdo not have a support system in place, or even if they do,they feel empty and alone. This topic is a source of greatsorrow for me as some veterans I have served with havesxigiven in to the demons of their nightmares, seemingly without warning.

Veterans themselves are not the only ones affected. So, are their spouses and families. The pain that endures by watching someone you love to go through something hard is beyond words, especially if you are unable to help. The families of our military have their special place in the service of this country as well because, for many in the military, families are their only support system.

There’s a vacuum that steals the very life from us like a vampire. This emptiness causes hatred, racism, selfishness, pride, low self-esteem, blaming others for our problems, and so many more issues that are so prevalent in society today. These same issues boil down to chaos in our own lives, and then we act out in the disasters we see today. All this distraction, division, and destruction can be the downfall of the very fabric of society.

Living inside everyone is an intrinsic yearning to be a warrior, yet few are born with a drive deep in their heart to be a warrior and live by it. Learn how to tap into that warrior life and potential to unlock an ancient drive that will help you rise above your circumstances. Understanding the tools in the box we have and knowing how to wield them is all part of the plan. There’s hope for everyone going through hard challenges in life. It’s usually all about perspective. Warriors can see new outcomes in some of the hardest challenges they face. I believe that everyone as this ability if only they can separate themselves from the problem that is facing them. Each of us has been created with a purpose to fulfill if we can only tap into it (read more in Ephesians 1:4). You’re purpose is there waiting to be discovered.
